Hudnott's Blackberry Gin

The Bramble

Ingredients

  • 50ml London dry gin
  • 25ml lemon juice (fresh squeezed)
  • 1-2 tsp simple syrup (sugar syrup)
  • 25ml Hudnott’s Blackberry Gin
  • Crushed ice
  • Lemon slices (optional)
  • Blackberries (optional)

Method

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake together the first three ingredients and strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice, mounded high.

Drizzle Hudnott’s BlackBerry Gin over the top and garnish with a slice of lemon, two blackberries and a short straw.

  • 12.5ml = Half a shot
  • 25ml = One shot
  • 50ml = Two shots
  • 125ml = Small wine glass
  • 250ml = Large wine glass

Sugar syrup is in many cocktail and is easy to make. Once made you can store in a fridge for up to one month.

In a medium saucepan combine equal measures of sugar and water. Bring to a boil, stirring, until sugar has dissolved. For smaller quantities just combine freshly boiled water with equal amounts of sugar and stir well to dissolve sugar. Allow to cool.

Hudnott's Redcurrant Vodka

Redcurrant Buck

Fill glass with ice. Pour Hudnott’s Redcurrant Vodka over ice and add the lemon juice. Top with ginger ale and garnish with squeezed lemon wedge.
