Mulled winter warmer

Ingredients

1 litres cider or apple juice (or a combination of the two)

1 orange, halved the sliced

5 star anise

4 cloves

2 cinnamon sticks

100ml Hudnott’s 

Method

Gently warm apple juice or cider in a pan on the stove. Add the spices and simmer gently for 5minutes.

Remove from the stove, pour into glasses (or mugs) and add your favourite Hudnott’s.

My personal favourites are Hudnott’s Blackcurrant Rum or Hudnott’s Blackberry Gin.

Hudnott's Blackberry Gin

The Bramble

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake together the first three ingredients and strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice, mounded high.
